Appliance Talk Clothes Dryers Laundry Washers & Dryers

Fish and chips, shoes and socks, Batman and Robin – there are some things that are just better when they’re together.

The same could be said for when it comes to doing laundry as well – not only do separate washing machines and clothes dryers take up more space, they also take up more time and energy.

The Bosch WVH28440AU Avantixx automatic washer dryer is the first of its kind from the brand and helps to make cleaning clothes quick and easier by offer a 7kg washing capacity and 4kg drying capacity in the one unit.

And no matter what type of laundry you do – methodical and organised or more of a “throw it all in and hope for the best” approach – there is a feature on the Bosch WVH28440AU to suit you.

Clean without thinking

Laundry is ultimately a chore than few people want to spend a lot of time on – so why not let your machine take all of the thinking out of the task?

The Bosch WVH28440AU washer dryer combo features 15 programs, including easy iron, fluff-removal and an express 15 minute minute load.

The machine can automatically detect the size of the load – adjusting the level of water and energy used to clean your clothes accordingly – and offers a time delay start for convenience.

Safety first

There are a range of safety features as well, including a child lock and the option to pause a cycle if you have forgotten to load an item.

The machine also includes Bosch’s AquaStop anti-flood protection – the high-tech leak protection system previously seen in the brand’s dishwashers that offers owners peace of mind every time they put a load on.

Clear and simple

The LED display can show you how long your cycle has left to run, as well as sounding an end of cycle signal once the load is complete – so you’ll never forget about your clothes again!

Also did you know that some washer/dryers use water to dry clothes? However Bosch washer/dryer, thinks that’s wasteful so they have got AirCondensation Technology™. Thanks to this revolutionary technique, the Avantixx™ condensation system uses air to dry your clothes instead of water, making Bosch washer/dryer Australia’s most water efficient dryer in its category.

What about the downside? Takes ages to wash / dry a load of washing. Can only dry just over half of the washing capacity of the machine. With sepertate appliances, you can be drying while the next load is washing. If something breaks down you have the other appliance still available for use
