The hard facts about the Breville Juice Fountain Plus Juicer BJE410

Breville understands that drinking packaged juice and juice drinks the supermarket simply doesn’t compare to the experience of freshly made fruit and vegetable juice.

So with the Juice Fountain™ Plus they’ve set out to make it easier and more convenient than ever to do it yourself.

The newly enhanced chute is extra-large to deal with apples, pears and oranges in seconds. And with the patented feed tube and filter you get more juice for far less effort.

The micromesh filters, meanwhile, have almost 40,000 tiny pores in them to help extract up to 30% more juice.

You will also enjoy the automatic pulp ejection and, most importantly, the easy clean design that allows for quick and thorough rinsing under the tap.

Great for the whole family

The Breville Juice Fountain Plus will ensure you and your family are kept refreshed with healthy juiced veggies and fruit everyday.

Making juice couldn’t be simpler thanks to the convenient features such as the extra-wide chute, which accommodates bigger pieces of fruit, and the basket, which stores the dry pulp created during juicing.

The ease of access and the clear collecting jug means you can see what you’re producing, making it a fun and engaging kitchen activity to try out with the kids.

The basket is located externally for easy clean up and minimal down time when juicing many litres at a time.

The cleaning up is also simple thanks to the smooth, rounded parts that prevent pulp from sticking and make rinsing under the tap fast and simple. There are also a few parts that are dishwasher safe.

The verdict

This Breville juicer was my best friend during the warmer months. It was enjoyable to use and there were few gripes when it came to cleaning.

The dry pulp I found was quite annoying to remove from the collection basket, but if you line it with a plastic bag before juicing, the dry pulp goes into the bag. When you’re done, it can be tied up and thrown straight into the bin, or as I did, tipped into the compost. You can also find heaps of recipes for patties or salads to make with the pulp, which still contains beneficial fibre.

The extra wide chute means that the prepping time is cut in half as there is no need to slice the fruit and veggies into small pieces. This also helps cut down the amount of dirty dishes.

I also don’t have to core my apples, which can be an unnecessary and lengthy process.

And thanks to the thinner mesh, the Breville Juice Fountain Plus produces more juice than most standard juicers.

The sleek silver finish is appealing on the eye, and suits my apartments kitchen quite nicely.

The large size of the juicer however, means I do need keep it on my bench top, as my cupboards do not accommodate such a large appliance. This is when the attractive design comes in handy.

If you’re looking for a healthier, and not to mention cheaper way of drinking juice everyday, don’t go past Brevilles Juice Fountain Plus Juicer. I can guarantee the entire family will fall in love with it.
