Look, up in the sky!

No, it’s not a bird, a plane, or a copyrighted comic book character – it’s the Appliances Online #legendblimp!

Up, up and away!

Following its initial inflation and a few flights around Melbourne, the #legendblimp spent two and a half days slowly winging its way to Sydney (FUN FACT: while majestic, blimps are not fast), where John Winning first founded Appliances Online some nine years ago.

To celebrate the #legendblimp’s arrival, Appliances Online recently hosted an official launch party at The Island on Sydney harbour

After recovering from its party, the #legendblimp plans to hang over (see what I did there?) Sydney, not only floating by the iconic CBD landmarks, but the suburbs near and far from the city centre, spreading the word of Appliances Online’s Legendary Service as it goes.

There’s a very good reason to keep an eye out for the #legendblimp, and it’s not so you can tell people that “once I saw a blimp”, a la Larry Burns – anyone spotting the #legendblimp has the chance to win a discount on their next Appliances Online purchase!

Watch the skies! The #legendblimp will be meandering all over the Sydney area for the upcoming weeks.
When you spot the #legendblimp, snap a photo.
Load your photo or video onto Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or other social media platform of your choice, remembering to tag it with #legendblimp.
If your photo is our favourite for the week, we’ll be in touch to award you with your $100 Appliances Online gift voucher!

It’s that simple!

At this stage, the Legend Blimp is only providing flights for special circumstances. However, we hope to offer members of the public the chance to fly in the blimp later down the track, so keep an eye on our blog, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter pages for updates!
