Appliances Online turns 10 – Celebrate double digits with our Birthday Surprises!

In November 2005, John Winning launched Appliances Online with a mobile phone, a laptop and a rented truck.

Today, in November 2015, Appliances Online is still going, with hundreds of employees, a sizable head office (with lots of toilets), nationwide warehouse network, and dedicated fleet of delivery trucks (plus professional installation service!).

A lot has changed in the world over the last decade – socially, politically, technologically – but a few things remain consistent. One fixed point in a changing age is Appliance’s Online’s dedication to Legendary Service.

Turning 10 put a new perspective on our usual birthday giving mood. In honour of hitting double digits, we decided to take things a bit further.

We decided it would be a nice surprise to offer some of our customers their money back on their new appliance purchases… in the form of an oversized novelty cheque, obviously. It’s our favourite form of currency…
