Are them some recipes that you are interested in testing out but simply don’t want to risk paying for an appliance that you may not use again?

Ever wished that you could deep fry, steam or slow cook with ease, without the need for multiple pieces on equipment taking up space on your kitchen bench?

It seems that Sunbeam may have the perfect appliance for you this Christmas, with the brand getting set to release the VersaCook Electronic Multi Cooker X5 next month.

The Appliances Online team hinted at this revolutionary new product last week, but we’re now revealing some more details surrounding the Sunbeam VersaCook.

Not only does the cooker feature an aluminium frypan/saucepan, it also allows chefs at home to deep fry, steam or slow cook their meal with the press of a button.

One of the added advantages of the five-in-one appliance is that it can be utilised for one-off cooking processes – such as frying homemade potato chips – or a combination of cooking styles can be used. For example, meat can be sealed off using the frypan before adding other ingredients and switching to the slow cooker.

According to Sunbeam product manager for cooking Nicole Norton, the all-in-one appliance is both versatile and practical – making it the perfect gift to give this Christmas.

“It’s easy to use. You just scroll through the menu, you choose your temperature … choose your time – whichever you want it to be – set start and off you go,” she said.

The VersaCook Electronic Multi Cooker X5 is ideal for those who have some experience in the kitchen but either have very limited space or simply have no desire to buy multiple appliances.

The Sunbeam VersaCook will be valued at RRP$179 when it goes on sale in September.

And although she is adamant she does not say 'fush and chups', she can't deny her continuous use of the term 'sweet as' and her ongoing argument with her team on the correct name for jandals (thongs). One thing is for certain, however, her passion for her kiwi slang is matched with her love for sharing news, hacks and buying tips for all things appliances! Krissy's favourite appliance is the Tefal Cook4Me multi cooker, as she believes it's ok to let an appliance do all the work for you.
