There are some unique smells that you simply don’t tire of – freshly cut grass, a toasty campfire and bread straight out of the oven.

Iconic brand Sunbeam is hoping to make it easier for you to recreate the smell of baked bread at home, by releasing the SmartBake Custom Bread Maker in time for Christmas.

We’ve already told you about the VersaCook Electronic Multi Cooker X5 and now we can reveal that Sunbeam will add a new bread maker to its range from September.

The Sunbeam SmartBake Custom Bread Maker features 76 menu settings – including the option to add fruit and nuts – and can be personalised with programmable options if you prefer to use your own recipe.

Endorsed by Coeliac Australia, the Sunbeam SmartBake includes a gluten free setting and can also be used to pizza dough and jam.

According to Sunbeam product manager for cooking Nicole Norton, bread makers are easy to use – making it an ideal gift to give this Christmas.

“The whole thing could take you two minutes to prepare, and then you walk away and then you come back to a baked bread,” she said.

The Sunbeam SmartBake Custom Bread Maker will be available from next month and is valued at RRP$229.
