The iconic tilt-head mixer sought after by many home cooks is now available online through Appliances Online.

KitchenAid has been a household name since 1919, and prides itself on helping families produce beautiful food made with love.

The brand – which was named after one executive’s wife used a prototype and exclaimed “it’s the best kitchen aid I’ve ever had!” – offers the Artisan KSM150 it has become renowned for in a host of colours including glossy black, cobalt blue, yellow pepper and boysenberry.

Boasting a large 4.8-litre stainless steel bowl, the KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer can hold up to 1.3kg of ingredients, while also including a ten-speed control leaver for absolute precision.

A flat beater, dough hook, stainless steel wire whisk and plastic pouring shield are all included as accessories, and attachments such as a citrus juicer, food mincer and vegetable strainer.

The accessories can be easily fitted to the beater shaft and precision is ensured thanks to the ten-speed control lever.

But it’s not just stand mixers that KitchenAid has on offer – today there are three different collections, as well as food processors, blenders, hand mixers and even pasta rollers.

According to assistant brand manager at KitchenAid’s Australian distributor Peter McInnes, Nicole Charles, the customers of the trusted brand quickly become loyalists – and fans can expect big things this year.

“Most people start off with one of our iconic Stand Mixers. The ‘addiction’ takes hold and soon they find they have the food processor, toaster and blender … People become very attached to their KitchenAid appliances!”

“We have several exciting upgrades and new product launches to look forward to in 2013. It’s going to be a big year for us.”

Appliances Online will be adding more to the range in coming months, but for now you can check out all of the available products on our website.

All the way from the land of the flightless bird, Krissy brings a part of New Zealand culture to the Appliances Online content team. And although she is adamant she does not say 'fush and chups', she can't deny her continuous use of the term 'sweet as' and her ongoing argument with her team on the correct name for jandals (thongs). One thing is for certain, however, her passion for her kiwi slang is matched with her love for sharing news, hacks and buying tips for all things appliances! Krissy's favourite appliance is the Tefal Cook4Me multi cooker, as she believes it's ok to let an appliance do all the work for you.
