If a cook is only as good as their appliances then Sunbeam will be hoping this year’s MasterChef contestants create masterpiece after masterpiece.

It will be the third year running that Sunbeam is the small appliance sponsor of MasterChef, having recently had a similar deal with rival reality cooking show, My Kitchen Rules.

My Kitchen Rules drew 2.6 million viewers during the finale and Sunbeam is hoping for a repeat with MasterChef.

This year’s key appliances include the Cafe Series Planetary Mixmaster, Café Series Blender, Café Series Food Processor, the FoodSaver and the Stickmaster Pro. There will also be a hand mixer, ice cream maker, convection
grill, glass kettle, espresso machine and skillet used within the show.

Sunbeam’s marketing manager Nicole Cowley, said sponsoring the popular show had been a successful strategy for the company.

“Lifestyle and cooking programs are increasingly becoming the most watched programs on television and
in terms of brand recognition and product usage, this is another great platform for Sunbeam,” Cowley said.

“Our involvement with MasterChef Australia allows us to take Sunbeam products into the homes of consumers and demonstrate the appliances in action.”

“Earlier this year, Sunbeam was the small appliance supplier on My Kitchen Rules and just as on My
Kitchen Rules, we believe Sunbeam products will become a vital “ingredient” for contestants on
MasterChef Australia. The show gives us another platform to highlight our great range of products, as well
as their diversity and ease of use.”

Sofia loves to keep things clean. Vacuum cleaners, giant washing machines and jumbo dishwashers hum away in her abode daily. Obsessive? Maybe. Passionate about appliances? For sure! She has been writing about appliance trends and happenings since 2010.
